The VST-1000 is a
simple signal generator that is used to properly
adjust any video amplifier that has a gain and high
frequency controls. Simply match the 4 bars
displayed on a test monitor and you are done. It is
designed to simplify the proper alignment on any
video system. It can also be used to evaluate the
amount of signal loss in a system. This could
determine the need for a compensating amplifier.
